Jeaux the fact that your telling me to do my homework is a joke. Walker will be released, the only thing holding it up is that they might not BE ABLE to release him because of his injury guarantee. So fine if he isn't released let me rephrase the question, "How do you feel about Javon Walker counting for 10 million on the cap if he isn't released?!" "How do you feel about Javon Walker counting for 9 million under the cap WHEN he is released?!" "How do you feel that your team already paid him 12 million dollars for an EXTREMELY piss poor season?!" Oh but don't worry I'm sure your thinking of some undrafted free agent or late round pick that the Raiders are counting on to take his place. Your talent evaluators have already gotten you real far in the past 5 years. So don't mess with me son. I'll shit in your soup.
But But But mj2sexay didn't Jeaux say that WR Arman Shields a 5th rounder will replace Walker easily?
What you don't understand is that Raiders are now 5 years into the 10 Year Plan, that record is expected. In 5 years Jemarcus Russell 6'6" 320 runs a 3.8 40 will be throwing passes to a 6th round pick that's 6'5" 220 runs a 3.1 40 to break the TD record while on their way to winning multiple SB's. Raiders and Al are right on course(to be best team in memory).
Yeah but I'm not on a "rest of the NFL" board, defending barbs from "rest of the NFL" fans, am I? Just reminding some Jet fans that even with a horrible 6 year streak, Davis is waaaaay above the NYJ in the pecking order. And that includes this decade even though some of you think football history is supposed be be irrelevant if it goes beyond the past 6 years.
We're talking about Al Davis. The guy has a 45 year track record, so why should I throw out 40 years of that track record? And you're right, the Jets' record is not stellar either.
