Gonna have to call "bullshit" here, Jeaux (no surprise)....if Kiffin had any influence on Al Davis regarding personnel decisions...i don't think McFadden or even Buffet boy Russell would be playing for the Raiders.

EDIT: And just so you don't try to make some more bullshit up....here's an article from USA Today that supports that notion

First off Deangelo Hall and Gibril wilson were not Raiders draft choice. So what connection do they have to who the Raiders draft in the first round. Usually if you look at aL Davis drafts he usually makes the first choice and lets his coach/Scout make the second pick.
Just a Small example to illustrate my point.
    1968
    1. Eldridge Dickey, QB, Tennessee St. ( First Black QB was clearly Davis Pick)
    2. Ken Stabler, QB, Alabama - Clearly the scouts like him.

    2001 1. D Gibson - Al Davis PIck

    2. Marques tuiasosopo- CLearly was a Gruden pick as Tuiasosopo isn't an AL Davis type of Qb.

Al Davis does give his coaches alot of imput in the decisons that are made. For example when ROb Ryan came aboard wanted to play 3-4. You don't think him bringing in his ex players from Patriot sTED Washington and B hamilton.

Last year high priced free agent additions were a totally failure. No doubt about it. They have something like 14 million of dead cap space just for hall and Wilson- guys no longer on roster. Still what saved the Raiders is they seemed to have done really well with there late draft choices and UDFAs.( Trevor Scott, WR Chad Schilens) UDFas.- DE Greyson gunheim(they love this guy) , wr turned H- back Marcel Reece 6'2 240 4.42(Raiders have big hopes for this guy) , Cb/SS Darrick Brown 6'4 200 4.35, RB Louis Rankin, TE D Strong.

This year they should get all there early Picks in last year draft back healthy.(like having an extra Pick) D Mcfadden due to turf toe injury was rather limited in what he could do last year. Healthy he going to be a big addition to their Offense( will use his recieving talents alot) 4th rounder T Branch 6' 205 - this special team ace missed a good part of last year due to injury(was IR) He in line to possible get one of the safety positions.

WR Arman shield- Raiders like him the best out of all there young Wrs . They just gave him a year to get healthy on Ir.

Raiders missed on last year freeagents but thats not going to deter AL Davis from going out to get someone he likes in freeagency. Still Raiders have alot of youth on both sides of the ball and they are going to continue develope these young kids, while adding more
young talent in the draft. Having so much young talent (cheap) and you can afford to eat some big contracts.

All undrafted FA's are awesome to you becaues THEY NEVER PLAY and if they do they're supposed to suck. That means you're free to come here and spew that bullshit you call football knowledge, and claim every UDFA is the next Jerry Rice because he has a 4.1 40 and is 6'5" and is a nice target for Russell an will automatically turn him into Peyton Manning. Then when they don't play or they glaringly suck we'll forget all about them and you'll stop talking them up. You'll have moved onto some other asshole from North Tennesee Jr. College with a 4.2 40 who's coach (that works at a gas station in the off-season) said he has potential to be a game breaker and is going to put the Raiders over the top.

Greyson Gunheim 22 after spending MOst of last season on Practice squad did play last game of the season. HE finished with one more sack than gholston. His triangle numbers like Scott are off the wall. Raiders release a decent situational pass rusher K edwards tell you how much they like this kid.

Raiders have their Stud TE. Zach Miller. Marcel Reece 6'2 240 4.42 was accomplished WR in college. Very good hands , runs nice route. Raiders moving him to H-back and it not stretching that he going to create some serious mismatches for a defense. He has WR skills and is too fast for LBs and most safeties. Cbs are going to have tough time bringing him down in space.

D Strong(pittsburgh) Te- looks the part 6'5 265 4.8 speed. Again Raiders have their TE. Raiders are going to pound the ball with the run. You put a zach Miller(all around Stud TE) and Strong and thats some serious blocking for the running game..

Darren Brown 6'4 200 with blazing speed. Yes he more of a longshot but he defintely will be someone i will be watching for. (can't teach size and speed)

Jeaux are u going to king every undrafted free agent and 5-7th rounders as a steal or they got potential to do this and that.

Jeaux have u ever realized why they went in the 6th rounds and undrafted? Because most of them suck! Why can't you get that threw ur skull? If your actually riding ur luck on them you are in trouble lmao. And then u get on us for liking undrafted free agents.

There was alot of sixth to seventh to undrafted FAs , that played better than your number six in the draft picked played. What did the guy have seven tackles on special teams. (worth ever penny)

Raider's vs a Rex Ryan Head coached team 0-0

Raider's win- loss record since 2004( recent history past 5 years) 20-60
    Jets 37-43

    Not stellar, but much better..
