Anyone think it will happen in the near future, or is Brett going to shy away from the field?

i don't know about NFL coaching. Thats a 14 hr day job.. he's mentioned something on NFL network a long time ago about how crazy coaches are for being in the office all day long.

Maybe a HS coach like Big Irv was. I can see him doing that.

I think we'll see HC Chad Pennington before we ever see HC Favre. Chad is the type that would work his ass off like an excellent HC, and he has it upstairs to do the job. I don't think Favre does.

QB coach Pennington definitely. I don't ever see him getting the respect to be a head coach. He would never be tough enough.

his personality alone would make a very listenable and enjoyable analyst... I honestly don't think he'd ever bash another player. He doesn't seem like that kind of guy.

Since when is Chad not tough? The guy played his heart out for us...it wasn't a toughness issue it was an ability issue

Interesting thoughts. Folks across the United States LOVE Favre. That is why his jersey was the #1 best seller FOREVER.

If he could find a challenging job to do, he may stay retired this time.

He does not do anything with his 400 acres down in Mississippi, so he gets bored, imho.

I agree, provided he didn't advise his QB to "take a little off. You don't have to rocket it. There you go, just float it, nice and lazylike. Great touch."
