think about it, fiedler is gone, chad could very well be gone, meaning we have bollinger, kingsbury, and Vinny on the roster right now. Vinny made it clear at the end of the year that he would announce his retirement a week or two after the last game, but that has never happened. so, do you guys think that maybe hes considering coming back??? crazier things have happened.
You want Vinny tutoring our young QB(s) on how to throw INTs? Vinny had his last hurrah and it was a disaster, a joke for Herm to bring him back...He had his last "moment" with the win against Tampa, to this day I still don't know how the Jets won that game, but they did...
word. as to who says mangini would want him, nobody knows, but the fact is, he hasnt been cut yet, or retired yet, and our qb chart keeps shrinking...
Your love for the guy is insane, the man is what? 42!? Let him sit on his couch and get him out of our sight!
Yes!! Absolutely!! When you look at the all of the options including free agency and the draft, it's clear that Vinny Testeverde is the best option at QB to lead the Jets into '06 and beyond
Vinny has run for 100 yards in a professional game before, michael vick only has 5 such games, and hes supposed to be so mobile even though hes a sucky qb.
Vinny STILL has an arm. And personally he's one of my favorite Jets players of all time. I want him as a back-up...I WANT HIM ON OUR SIDELINES, I TELL YA!!!
alright!!!! that makes two of us, although i want him starting, but at least wanting him on the team is a good start!!!!!
Vinny was completely inept last year. I have no idea why some of the Jets fans want him back. RETIRE VINNY
No, but he did look inept when he turned the football over 12 times versus one TD all season (in trash time) Vinny threw 6 INT's and fumbled the ball 8 times...lost 6 of them His only TD came in a trashtime score at the end of the New england game. He is going to be 43 years old soon. He had a good career and he will always be a Jet, but his career is over.
