some of those were pretty bad however i actually thought the padres unis were cool because they were so different. i would take a number of those over the crap uniforms they are coming out with today with all these stupid fancy stripes on the pants and jerseys. surprised to not see the old expos and phillies and royals and the others who wore the powder blues. and the worst unis EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!! were the spandex basketball unis that a couple teams wore a number of years ago. they were one piece basically leotards. i KNOW that seton hall wore them and i vaguely remember a couple other teams, i wanna say nc state. there is NOTHING worse than watching grown men run around in a 1 piece skin ass tight spandex outfit. someone should have been shot for that. i think the seton hall kids asked if they could wear shorts so that their entire mandome wasnt flopping all over the place for everyone to see.
We have a winner! Horrible. I liked a lot of the unis on that list. The Bucs needed a little altering on the jersey, but the helmet and the color were cool....I thought at least. I think Oregon has the best unis in college football, next to Syracuse of course. Liked the Mighty Ducks, Nuggets, Rockets and Islanders unis. Cool thread. Wrong forum. edit: And I like the Jets/Titans uniform. Simple.
The reason why I put this thread here was as a follow on to a thread about uniform design changes for the Jets that garnered alot of interest not very long ago.
yes, this uniform does not fit well with his skin!! Maybe on white player it will look better. (;-_-)
I remember a comment made about those Astros uniforms: they walked by the hot dog stand and were splattered by mustard and ketchup.
I don't think the Oregon Ducks ones are bad....and if you put those Padres and Pirates unis back in their era they were OK. The ugliest ones out there are the Ottawa Senators, New England Patriots, and sorry guys, but the gray Yankees ones are brutal.
I thought those throwbacks the Blackhawks used in the Wrigley game were awful. The baby blue messes Pittsburgh uses, gross. Or what about the 1960 Broncos? Same color scheme as the Padres, Mustard and Brown.
