Could it be possible that Rex Ryan is coaching under an adapted version of existential philosophy. And no, my Rex quotes are not accurate so chill, you get the idea.

    Existentialism
"[People] cannot endure [their] own littleness unless [they] can translate it into meaningfulness on the largest possible level."
~ Ernest Becker, 1973, The Denial of Death, p. 196

    Rexistentialism
The only worthy goal is winning the Superbowl

    Existentialism
"No shepherd and one herd! Everybody wants the same, everybody is the same: whoever feels different goes voluntarily into a madhouse."
    ~ Nietzsche, 1892/1966, Thus Spoke Zarathustra (W. Kaufmann, Trans.), p. 18

    Rexistentialism
No individual is above the team, when I get to F I will speak to Brett just like everyone else. I want coordinators that work with me not for me.

    Existentialism
"Like most human behavior, violence has meaning: it only seems 'senseless' or 'meaningless' to the extent we are unable--or unwilling--to decode it."
    ~ Stephen A. Diamond, 1996, Anger, Madness, and the Daimonic, p. 9

    Rexistentialism
We’re gonna have each others backs you take a swipe at one of ours we’re gonna take a swipe at two of yours and that’s just how this games gonna be played

    Existentialsim
"Our greatest challenge today...is to couple conviction with doubt. By conviction, I mean some pragmatically developed faith, trust, or centeredness; and by doubt I mean openness to the ongoing changeability, mystery, and fallibility of the conviction."
    ~ Kirk Schneider, 1999, The Paradoxical Self, p. 7

    Rexistentialism
This isn’t the same old Jets

    Existentialism
"Sometimes I think it is my mission to bring faith to the faithless, and doubt to the faithful."
~ Paul Tillich as quoted by Rollo May, 1988, in Paulus: Tillich as Spiritual Teacher, p. 71

    Rexistentialsim
Message to rest of the league: We’re coming and going to be more than you can handle.

    Existentialism
"...man is free, in so far as he has the power of contradicting himself and his essential nature. "
    ~ Paul Tillich, 1957, Systematic Theology (Viol. 2), p. 32

    Rexistentialism
I am looking forward to working with Gholston and helping him

    Existentialism
"One repays a teacher badly if one always remains nothing but a pupil."
    ~ Nietzsche, 1892/1966, Thus Spoke Zarathustra (W. Kaufmann, Trans.), p. 78

    Rexistentialism
I am even more prepared a to be a HC this year than I was last year.

    Existentialism
    “God is dead’
    ~ Nietzsche

    Rexistentialism
Bellichek is dead (No he didn’t really say that)

    I dont see it...

The first quote is more objectivist. The next two are collectivist. Read Ayn Rand.

I wasn't trying to sound all intelligent or make an intellectual post or anything just trying to make an entertaining post. If we are gonna get away from the "same old Jets" mentality I figured we should also try to get away from the "same old posts" mentality.

No self respecting person would ever honestly suggest that anybody should read Ayn Rand, for any reason.

I am Ayn Rand, and I got your existentialism right here.

Since grad school the only thing I read are box scores, Golf Digest, and this message board. I don't really give a shit about epistemology this was for just for shits and giggles. I disagree with you, these are existential quotes but seriously, who gives a fuck? Let's just agree to hate the Patriots.

    I agree.

There are also rumors that Mangini was spotted several times in the Florham Park facility carrying a copy of the "Tao of Pooh" along with his playbook. I entertain the possibility that this affected his inability to make in-game adjustments and his failure to adjust parts of their game planning that was not working. Take this passage for example...

The Great Secret is ?the key that unlocks the doors of wisdom, happiness, and truth?. And how would one obtain this Great Secret? Well, all one must do, is nothing. One may observe themselves and the world around them, and do what about it? Nothing. Nothing is after all something.
