We didn't hire him to be the DC. We hired him to be the HC and nobody knows how he will do there.

The Raiders next HC will be Renfield. They just have to keep him from eating beetles at the podium.

    hahaha Renfield...nice.

Will Crazy Al show up to the press conference in the form of green mist and be referred to as "the mastah".

Yeah, we should drop Jenkins, Thomas, Harris, Barton, Pace, Revis, Rhodes and Smith as soon as humanly possible. I don't think any other team in the NFL would want anything to do with those worthless pieces of crap. Man, if only Ryan had SOMETHING to work with on defense.

I think it's a little bit of both. Rex truly does know how to get across to his guys, but that may be just because Ryan has been in Baltimore for so long. That being said, Rex is very personable by nature, and I'd say that his biggest strength is getting his players ready for games. Ryan prepares every single man on the roster to the point that they can all step in as starters; this season alone, Rex had guys like Leonhard, Washington, McClain and others playing at an elite level with the first stringers going down.

The only concern I had when the Rex Ryan head coaching talks first came up last season was that Rex is a little bit too lax, and he will literally turn over the games to his players sometimes. It's really amazing that he is willing to take input from his guys, but sometimes it's better to take control yourself, and Rex wouldn't do that.
