Edit...tried to change the thread title but couldnt...sorry for the joke but the threads serious. Heard the Jets hired some guy named Rex Ryan to develop Gholsten. And straighten out or Defense. And win a superbowl. To simplify the 'what-ifs', pretend for this thread the Ryan was our DC last season with just the players we had on the roster. And ONLY the players we had on the roster. What specific things would he have done different/better than Sutton as DC? How would he have handled VG's ineffectivness? How would he have used Rhodes? What might he have done when Jenkins got hurt? Just posting "he would have used Rhodes more, whipped VG i nto shape, and blitzed like crazy" has already been posted 3000 times. Talk about specific things he could have done different/better that would have made a difference. I'm all for Ryan, but I want to know 'how much' better i should feel. thanks! :beer:

Somebody pour gasoline on this guy and light him on fire. I was totally outraged when I read the thread title. I'm not in favor of posting fake news, but seriously, the criteria for 'posting fake news' has to be more clearly defined. I remember when Petro put that rule in place, and it was because people were actually writing fake news articles to start rumors. Now it's become a misleading thread title. Used to be, those thread titles were just edited and the thread starter was warned, now it's a bannable offense.
I was just about to say how lame it would be for the Jets to do something like this. This thread is even lamer. Way to try and be funny and have it blow up in your face.
