Guys, I had the opportunity to see the jets play the eagles in the hall of fame game when I was 12 (1992). I am pretty sure we haven't played in the game since then. I think we are due. When will they decide who plays. If we get it this year, I feel like it will be a great trip to make. I really don't remember much of canton. Anyone know what weekend it is? Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!

Then again, it stands to reason that we should win the Super Bowl once every 32 years...
I hate the 5th preseason game, 4 is bad enough where these guys barely play now so 5 is a killer. '92 brings up bad memories too as we went 5-0 in that preseason then won 4 games in the reg season.

What's with that 0-0 tie in 1980? Even during the preseason, it's kind of odd to play 5 scoreless quarters.
The game was called due to severe weather. I remember that game, it was dumping and lightning everywhere.

That can't be right, who the hell did the Jets have that went into the HOF in 92? Nobody, wasn't Namath the last Jet to get in the HOF in 1985? That's sad, the last guy that was a Jet to get in was in 1985...
I really doubt it's a requirement considering the Houston Texans played in the game in their inaugural pre-season. If the Jets do play, it wouldn't matter to me much at all. It's a pointless game.
They have put certain teams in when a player or 2 of theirs has been enshrined but it's definitely not a requirement or we'd be seeing the same teams every few years.
