Has the look of a 5th place team in the A.L. East written all over it.

Those are the most awesome uniforms I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of uniforms. Those uniforms are sleek and stylish enough that they could be great for a long time to come!

Whatever. I am a Yankees fan, but the most stable team in the AL from last year is Tampa.

Don't forget the best young pitching staff in baseball, now with David Price for a whole year we are set for the next 8-10 years..... oh and I have always been a Rays fan not since July when I made my 1st post ever about them.

As for the uniforms they are really awesome, I'm staying away from a Mets jersey thanks to that hideous patch. maybe I'll grab a Rays one.....

A lot of the Rays roster is completely overrated! The only names that jump out on my here is Longoria, Burrel and maybe Crawford.
The Ray's rotation is full of young scrubs who will fall back to earth. I'll give you Kazmir, Pierce and maybe Garza.

Um, did you forget Shields, Upton, and Pena?

And who the hell is Pierce? You mean Price?

    Okay add Upton..he is good.
Shields is better than Garza so replace the two.
    Pena can''t hit for average.
True colors will be reveled this year. 1 Hit Wonders

So basically the Rays will suck even though 4 of their 5 starters are very good...

    Starting Rotation
    S. Kazmir
    J. Shields
    M. Garza
    A. Sonnanstine
    D. Price

Who cares? Batting average is ridiculously overrated.

Pena is is a gold glover at first base, and has still put up an career OPS of .851. It was .871 last year and 1.038 the year before... that's sick.

For comparison's sake, Don Mattingly's career OPS was .829, and Keith Hernandez's career OPS was .820. If you prefer a modern comparison, Kevin Youkilis's career OPS is .857.

The Rays new alternate looks pretty nice. I think the Mets home black alternate is the best in baseball though.

Anyway, the Rays should be really good again this year although I think they have to work harder because now teams are expecting them to be good instead of them being a huge surprise. Probably not a World Series winning team, but definitely close. Excellent lineup and rotation.

Even as a Rays hating Yankees fan I have to admit that the Rays are talented. Very talented.

The AL East is going to be a fight between the Yankees, Red Sox and Rays for at least the next half decade.

Navy blue lettering on a navy blue jersey is stupid. If they would've made it white, like on the hat, it'd be a damn nice uniform.

I wouldn't get too down on the Sox yet. This year might be a little bit rough, but can it really stay that way?
