Whoa don't bring me into this. What did I ever do to contribute to this argument? or the baseball forum in general?
The patch is just too plain, it's not ugly. It's in the style of the Citi Field logo. They could have done better, but they could have done worse too.
He means jetsrule128. That's what you get for having a generic username, though. Who is Kevin James? You mean the person, right?
good point, my username is a little generic, but hey I was the first to steal the generic lol. I just found it weird my name was mentioned in the baseball forum.
Why would anyone think it's not real? Remember the new Mets song "Our team, our time"? If people continue to make such a big deal out of how awful it is it will probably disappear. What's more unbelievable to me is that anyone cares about this crap. It's a patch, who gives a shit?
The Mets have worn patches several times in the past and all looked professional and had "Shea Stadium" or "25th Anniversary of 1969 World Series" or "Shea Stadium 40th Anniversary" in them. The patch seen in this thread is so comical it cannot be believed.
From this guy? I knew it was possible. And this new awful mall movie excluded, Kevin James is awesome! How dare you tarnish the great name of Kevin James!
yeah, that's bad. Whoever decided on this patch should be severely reprimanded. Didn't they ask for it to be reviewed or whatever? Still, the classic part of this thread was 5180/1290 claiming the Mets were putting a Domino's patch on their jerseys.
the article compared the patch to a Domino's thing. Our resident ass pirate was stupid enough to claim that the Domino's logo was going to be on the uniforms.
I still don't believe it. The patch makes zero sense. "Inaugural Season 2009"? Inaugural season of what, exactly?
