Since he got benched on a team that doesn't know what it's doing, I think we could trade for him cheap. He would obviously be an upgrade over whoevers beside Rhodes.

Crazy Al will still demand ridiculous compensation. I'd rather we go out and find someone who doesn't look like a bust and not pay an arm and a leg to bring them in.

How would a guy who got benched by the Raiders be an obvious upgrade over anyone? Their backup, Hiram Eugene, sucked.

my point was that the raiders have no idea what they are doing, and everyone knows he has potential considering he was the top DB in his draft.

I could make the argument that if the Raiders have no idea what they're doing, why should I have confidence in a guy they handpicked to draft?

And wasn't Gholston the top DE/OLB prospect in the draft, or at least #2 behind Long?

Which is why the Jets defensive MVP this year was Ahmad Carroll.

Lowery cant play safety, he's way too small. And why would we be the only team to make an offer to the Raiders for Michael Huff. If the Raiders wanted to move him there would be a long line waiting for him.

Lowery is 5'11" 201. There have been smaller safeties out there than that.

again that wasn't the point, i would be willing to put out a feeler for him, but obviously if it escalated too far with other teams i would obviously want to back out

we need at least one safety who shows a willingness to knock somebody's block off. Lowery would not fit that requirement.

He looks more like 185. I know he's a corner, but I cant remember 1 big hit he had all season. Not the guy I want at Safety anyway....

Because part of a safety?s job is to lay people out and make them think twice about coming across the middle.

I just cant see Dwight Lowey being that guy.

Yes, let's trade for any good football that's available at a position of need. Go for it!

I would only want Huff to play him at CB, he just isn't good enough at safety. Raider fans want to lynch him and call him Michael Fluff. Guy is not a good tackler and makes bad decisions. Athleticism is all he really has, let him play CB, he played it a little in college.

The Raiders dumped D'angelo Hall and guy had a pretty good season with the Skins.....I think it might be some type of curse or maybe it's the uniform. Regardless Michael Huff would blossom with the Jets if we could get him for a 4th rounder via the compensation from Vilma I am all for it.
