    Two observations I'd like to make:

    1) your thread title is a little vague...

    2) why isn't "The Jets need some Jigglin" one of the poll choices?

    I would gut the whole coaching staff and let the new HC pick his own staff from the ground up. No excuses if it doesn't work out.

    If you want a chef to be successful you need to let him use his own proven recipe.

    Spags, Clemens, and don't change much. We have the talent here already to succeed, Favre is gone, which leaves Clemens as the most talented QB (no, I'm not smoking crack), and Spags is the reason the Giants won a Superbowl and have the best record in the NFC.

    I voted "not much else" after Spags (I have to write his name like that because I can never remember how to spell it) and Clemens.

    By "not much else" I meant bring in a pass-rushing LB in the draft and the defense could improve dramatically.

    Clemens gets the job by default. I think Favre is finished. Hold a training camp contest between Ratliff and Clemens to see if either is ready to take the job, consider a veteran as a fallback option. I think Clemens could step up.

    I'm not smart enough to know who would be the best coach, but my guess is that whomever the people on this board think is the best choice, isn't. I seem to remember everyone ripping the Jets for drafting Keller (that seemed to work out pretty well) and everyone praising the Favre trade (and that turned out to be a disaster). So, if everyone here thinks B-Schott is a train wreck, he is probably the next Vince Lombardi.

    Ryan, Clemens or Ratliff, draft a 1st round QB to put heat and hope teh QB performs, add some small additions in free agency to fill out depth and hope something comes from the draft or FA that will bring some boom to the team
