Depending on who comes in as head coach, do you see the possibility of trading up for a qb (stafford). I know this would be a bold move but what do you guys think. Anybody worth it? Personally, I think stafford can step in and play from day 1

I think we should trade for Phillip Rivers. He's such a nice boy.

we hope stafford drops past KC and Seattle then if he drops past san fran we get him....but those r the 3 teams we would have to trade with to get stafford possibly

I would be all for moving up to get him but it would cost us 2 1sts and a 2nd at least to do it. But then again, ask me tomorrow after I see how he plays tonight.

true...if bradford plays amazingly today and favre does end up leaving, the new york jets better trade up for him, if not, stafford is our boy if he drops, otherwise fuck it and let the Kellen Clemens or Brett Ratliff era begin!

P.S-If anyone wants Tim Tebow to play qb for the jets you can just give up on that now. He WILL be playing HB in the nfl!

nope. i like colt mccoy to much to waste a 1s round pick on a sophmore and a kid from georgia who was surrounded by high-octane talent on offense...even though... stafford did play in the SEC. And i compare the SEC to the NFL's "farm system". It's the largest, fastest conference in college football.

You could argue about the Pac-10, but i'm talking about historically not in the present.

we need to pick taylor mays or spikes, and use the 2nd round pick on britt. i could care less what you use the other picks for.

    2010 is Colt McCoy.

Tebow looks like the real deal if you ask me and McCoy is decent.

Tebow will not play qb in the nfl...Not nfl qb material, especially the offense he plays in does not get him nfl ready

Mays is a BEAST and I agree with picking Britt. My choice for 1-2.

Lions, KC, 49ers, Rams & Jags could all take a QB

chad pennington was close to 70% at least a few years, in the NFL

no college player is guaranteed to make an impact in the nfl let alone automaatically become the best quarterback ever based on one stat

chad is the all time leader in completion percentage, and he'll never win a superbowl
