if Leinart falls to the four slot...we'd better trade down and start getting some first round locks stockpiled for next season.

    Yeah I said it

I'd take Croyle with our 1st 2nd round pick. I'd rather see if we could trade down first, but I would definitely do that...

Please this guy knows full and well that the Meadowlands is windy during the winter months. This is the East Coast not the South. We need windcutters not windsailers. Matt Leinhart is too risky for me.

I don't know how Myers came to this conclusion after stating all those concerns. He backs it up by simply stating our QB situation is unstable, but that doesn't mean we should take whatever QB is available to us at that point. Leinart raises alot of flags, IMO, and at pick #4, he would kill this team for years if he turns out to be a bust.

If he's available, Jets should trade down...they'd get a fortune.

The Jets just signed versitale offensive lineman Trey Teague. Even though he played center for the Bills, he was a LEFT TACKLE for Denver and throughout his college days. Draft Mangold at 29 if he is there, then your offensive line is set: Teague, Kendall, Mangold, Moore, Jones. You need a solid offensive line to get good play from your quarterback. If the Jets are smart, with the number 4 pick they should take Mario Williams or A.J. Hawk. The Jets are going to a 3-4 defense and they can need all the help they can get. Yes you have Kimo and Ellis as your lineman, but Williams would replace Kimo in the future. Yes you have Vilma, Hobson, Barton, and Brown. A.J. and Vilma can be a dominant linebacking crew. I used to think they should take D'Brick with the 4th pick. No, take one of the two top defensive players, then draft Mangold at 29. You can't go wrong with those picks. You would fill holes instantly on defense and offense. No need for quarterbacks unless you want one later in the draft. Pennington and Ramsey can get you through this season.

Gary Meyers is a f&$*ing terd. He never provides insightful commentary or goes out on a limb. When I read this article I almost got sea sick from shaking my head. How does this dumb mother f*&$er get a job? Not to beat a dead horse but to say that Brodie Croyle is late first round talent is simply not doing your homework. I think he is hands down the worst reporter in NY.
