Suppose that the draft plays out like this: 1) Reggie Bush (RB) 2) D'Brickashaw Ferguson (OT) 3) Matt Leinart (QB) Who should the Jets take assuming that they don't trade out of the #4 spot?
1. Mario - a freak on the dline 2. Hawk - next great linebacker 3. Cutler - young Farve 4. Davis - great catching TE 5. Young - project that might become good to really good
Mario Williams has jumped out to a strong early lead. It is very interesting to see most people going with defense especially when you consider the state of our offense.
How can you pass on the best defensive player of the draft, AND possibly the best defensive player coming out since the start of the millenium??? Everyone in this draft has their positives and negatives...but somehow when you look at Super Mario, all you see is future annual pro bowler and future Hall of Famer... No way you pass on Super Mario...The same thing can be said for the Texans...the smartest choice for their team would be D'Brick because they have playmakers in Carr, Johnson, Moulds, and Davis...now if only their line would be solid, maybe they can actually start competing for a change... To conclude, Jets would be absolute IDIOTS to pass on Super Mario...he will put JAbe to shame when/if he comes to NY
no brainer Definitely draft Young in this scenario!!! I assume those of you who picked Mario Williams are envisioning a trade with the Saints for Leinart...
No question Mario, he would be without a doubt the best player on the board in that scenario (although the only way he wouldn't be the best available is if Bush dropped.)
