and the new HC and FO decide to bring in a veteran, who would you suggest? Take a chance on Rex Grossman? Other thoughts?
Derek Anderson, Todd Collins, Losman, Boller, Hasselback, there are more but those are a few off the top of my head that you could probably have
Say what you want: Sexy Rexy got to a super bowl. That is more then Chad Pennington can say, and really more then most QB's in the NFL can say.
"Sexy Rexy" got to the super bowl because the Bears defense was unbelievable. Rex Grossman is a joke. The year they made it to the super bowl, he posted a passer rating of 0.0 on multiple occasions.
Why ruin another year with someone else's trash. It's time to DEVELOP a QB, not try to squeeze blood from a stone again in hope of some one year miracle. Look at those names above. Does anybody really want any of those guys as QB of the Jets??? Let's see what Ratliff or Clemens or Ainge can do and if the Jets FO doesn't think the future is on the roster, draft a QB. If Garcia or Anderson or Grossman or Losman or some other has been, never was, or never will be is brought it, I'll puke.
I'm surprised no one's said Carson Palmer. When he's healthy he's one of the best QBs in the league, and I don't think he'd mind a trade out of Cincinnati one bit.
