I give Pennington credit for the year he had - I didn't think he had anything left. However, Miami ran a ton of misdirection, trick plays, and receivers and backs had a lot of yards after the catch. They also didn't turn the ball over, Penny included, that helped them get here. But you saw as far as Chad can go - the good attacking D that takes the run away makes him helpless - he can't make the throws. This is as far as he can go. And BTW - the Ravens are a bunch of punks, and I love the way the Giants O-line bitched slapped them up and down the field this season. Hopefully they are done next week.
I guess a year ago you thought the Giants had no chance b/c Eli would be tpyical Eli and never win a postseason game? Then his ground game is amazing, his D plays like Champions and he wins a SB! funny how that worked out, right?

Is that a bad thing? He leevated a medicore team into the postseason. We weren't legit contenders in '06 and they weren't this year but that got to play another game. I would buy the Chad can't win big games argument if he had a SB caliber team and he played the way he did today.
Chad didn't mess up for the most part fo rthe rest of the games, but thanks to reciever not being open, sacks, and bad run attempts (remwember the one that put them in a 3rd and 25 position)
Those punks have a better defense than us straight across the board! And they slapped around a Dolphins team that beat us at home last week. I think our Team played like the punks the last five weeks.
I don't understand how anyone can still defend Chad. Fact: Correct me if I'm wrong, the Dolphins didn't beat a single playoff team all year. Fact: They struggled to beat crappy teams. Fact: Pennington has never even got close to a Super Bowl in his life and never will. He's an average talent QB that plays with a lot of talent. And lesson learned. No matter how creative you try to be on offense to hide your weaknesses (i.e. weak arm QB), a good defense will pick you apart. At least this settles it. Pennington was never going to going to get us a Super Bowl, so he wasn't a loss. Took a risk with Favre, didn't work. Whatever. Chad AND the DOLPHINS Exposed.

Who cares man. They had a weak schedule. Didn't beat a single playoff game. Struggled against crappy teams. Who cares. Its about getting to Super Bowls or at least to Conference Championship games. He's an average QB that gets exposed against good D's. I don't know how you can defend him at this point. He is never going to get near a Super Bowl.
I listed all the Qb's I though were better than Chad and Eli was on the list. Eli made the throw to Tyree and plax when it counted last year. Something Chad never seems to do in Jan. He is mediocre accept it and move on. How many times have you seen this sad story and yet you continue to defend him. Ed Reed read him like a book today.
Lol, there is no way you just compared Chad Pennington to Eli Manning. Do you realize the age difference. Chad has proved over and over again, he's not "that" QB. MAN, HE JUST THREW 4 INT'S and ONCE again will get no where near a Super Bowl. What are you talking about.
