Callahan, Schotty, Westhoff...etc. They all contributed to Mangini's downfall, why reward them? This organization needs outside change. Guys like McDaniels, Spagnoluo, etc. need to sound more appealing.
Do you have nothing better to do than troll a Jets board? Im pretty sure the Pats have plenty of messageboards you can go to.
what are you talking about? Would you say that Callahan and Schotty were successful coordinators? I think Spags basically won the Giants their super bowl and mcdaniels orchaestrated that offense, so its in the jets best interest.
It's a simple courtesy. Nothing more. Some people need to realize that a football team functions very much like most other businesses. An important vacancy opened up; it would be a slap in the face to the current staff (who won't be fired until there's a new coach in place to decide who he wants) not to hear what they have to say. Also, it helps keep their names in the mix for other jobs around the league.
oh ya... this guy, it must have gotten deep down... haha, now this thread is bad because we dont want to admit that our current coaching staff is garbage or are we narrow minded and we dont want proven candidates?
