A local kid who can play the game. http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2009/01/rutgers_wr_kenny_britt.html
I have him down as a 2nd round pick, he has good size, good speed and a real physical presence. Would be a very nice addition to our team.
Not a chance that Crabtree falls any lower that Seattle's first pick, Maclin will be tough to get in the first round let alone any lower, Britt can be taken with a 2nd or even a 3rd round pick. Another receiver that will go even lower is Jaison Williams from Oregon, i like this guy, good size, but he doesn't have the speed, put him in the redzone though and at 6-5 and 240 he will be tough to defend, will likely go in the 5th or 6th round.
I don't follow college football much outside of the University of Miami, but size is not everything. IE: Marcus Henry from last years draft. Where is he?
Kenny Britt's ridiculous, I'm gonna miss seeing him at the RU games but it'd be sick if the Jets drafted him
Your right size isn't everything, but look at the numbers, Williams is far superior, 55 receptions 844 yards and 8 TD's with Dixon as his QB, he has talent, but because he runs a 40 yard dash close to 4.6 he will drop down the board.
You're spot on....Crabtree is a lock to Seattle, they need alot of help, but especially at WR. As far as the Jets, I don't see Coles in our future for too long. Maclin would be OK with me at 17. I'd still prefer defense....Spikes, Moore, Davis, or Alphonso Smith at 17. We are looking at Defensive coaches...Ryan & Spags...so defense is probably the way the Jets will go in Rd 1.
Britt IMO can be the second best WR in this draft. Crabtree seems to have a universal hold as the #1 WR. Britt seems taller in real life. Plus, he's fast as shit, can go deep, isn't scared of the middle, can make cuts, and does the little things like blocking. I think very few people know how good this guy is, but IMO he's going to be a major riser this offseason.
I'm in the same boat. After Britt works out, I find it very hard to believe that he won't be a first rounder, unless some unexpected underclassmen jump (like Damien Williams). Great size, great body, speed is off the charts, and is a very good and willing blocker.
I hope not Maclin would be a huge get if he fell to us, a WR with speed and size is what we need the most as other than Leon we have no one with gamebreaking speed
Britt is pretty nasty, if you guys know about Dez Bryant from Oklahoma State University, hes sick also, explosive, hes pretty legit, as for RBs I think were good with Jones and Washington for atleast another year
that would be great, if either of them were on the board when we picked, and we passed. i think id put furniture through the wall. but i think your talking number 1 and number 2 as far as WR's go. i dont see the WR-less 1st rd we saw last yr. so hopefully theyd even be there when we pick. as far as Britt, i like him alot. i also like Greg Carr. somewhere after the 1st and 2nd. but after the combine with his size at 6 ft 6 and good speed, i think he'lll garner alot of attention. was a favorite for the biletnikoff coming into what was a dissappointing senior yr for the whole FSU team. riddled with injuries/suspensions and a sophmore qb. he doesnt fall under those categories though. what caught my eye was he completely schooled VT's Victor "Macho" Harris who will be a shoe in as a 1st/2nd rd pick as a CB.
 if kenny britt falls to us. we would have to get him. he has unreal talent. and his size? our receivers are renown for being undersized. add a receiver with height and speed, and hands... coles. keller. cotchery. britt. stuckey. i'm content with the skill positions.
The only place we have a shot at him is at 17. Mark it down. He's going first round for sure, dudes a beast and exactly the type of receiver we need.
