Actually, your the own seeming like a clown now. Schlareth didn't even mention rushing yards, did he? No, he mentioned TD runs. Last year, TJ's just didn't get it in the endzone: This year he has. Sure, the improved OL plays a roll, but so does a QB that causes defenders to back off.

It works hand it hand. It's not just a coincidence that he went from 1 TD scored to the leading AFC rusher with 10 td's and a probowl selection. And, he's right, TJ's isn't even the real difference maker out of the backfield, it's Leon Washington. Favre certaintly played a role in Jone's increased numbers. You think if favre didn't play the way he did in 07 that Ryan Grant would of been nearly as successful? Just look at this season in GB, he barely topped 1000 rushing yars in 16 games, and he almost had that in 9 games last season with Favre.

It's a difference. It wasn't all favre, but he certaintly did not hurt TJ's stats this year.

Can someone provide even ONE positive to the whole Jones thing?

    1) He looks like a pussy because he didn't have the guts to say it Favre's face. Probably because Favre would:
    a) Tell him to STFU
    b) Tell him to gain more than 3.9, 2.5, 3.8 or whatever per yard in the last three games
    c) Have a "long" more than 6 or 7 yards the last three games

    2) How is this help the team on any level? I guess T.O. coming out and bashing Romo really helped? Even on that, most of hte team apprently agreed with T.O.'s views but how does that help the team? Be a man.

    3) Its so funny because people think Leon Washington is way better than Jones and Jones should get less touches in favor of Washington.

    4) He looked like an absolute fool on First Take when he downplayed everything and said "thats not my decision to make". Well when was it his decision to comment on who needs to be benched?

Overall, be a man. This has nothing to do with Favre. Favre could be gone in a month, who cares. This to me is just a pussy move. I just don't get what you gain on any level. I'm not the biggest Chad fan as most know. But if Chad stinks it up against Balitmore and one of his teammates goes on the radio bashing him, I would think its a pussy move.

And if you don't think that having Favre behind centre made a difference in Jones season at all, your a fool.

    1) Spend much time in the Jets' locker room and offensive team meetings? How do you know he didn't already say something to Brett's face back when he only had 19 INTs on the year? or after the game? or during the game? How can you criticize him for this when you don't know what goes on between those two?

2)If there's smoke, there's fire. Do you think Jones is the only one who had this opinion? I doubt that there is going to be a divided locker room here.

    3) Total non sequitur. What does the Leon vs. Jones argument have to do with the price of tea in China? About as much as it has to do with this situation. Anyone trying to convince you otherwise doesn't have a leg to stand on.

4)When someone asked him what he feels about the INTs, that's when it's his decision to decide to comment. Someone asked him a question about the game and he answered it. STF what if you don't like his response.

Buddy, they were stacking the box against Favre after the Patriots OT game too...the league, thanks to Bellicheck, figured out that Favre lost the ability to go deep at this point and was exposed. Ironic, they dump the guy they think can't go deep, and get a guy who can't successfully pass deep anymore.
