List your nomination for a new award, ALONG WITH AN EXPLANATION! I'll start this one out with a nomination of the "TGG Ghost Award" - given out to a member of TGG who was thought to be a very respectable and frequent poster in 2007, and somehow feel off the face of the earth in 2008. This poster now comes around very seldom, and can be considered missing in action. Nominations end January 4. If someone wants to second the Best Avatar award to get it on the ballet, do so today before we move on to the voting stage.
I don't see a "most respected poster" award. That would be the person you always click whenever you see they have posted. In other words, the poster you respect the most.
I'm assuming this is the thread where the actual "poster" nominations are to be posted...if not, I apologize. For the "Most Argumentative Poster"...i nominate: nyjunc and Long_Time_Jet_Fan everytime the subject of Chad Pennington comes up....these guys are pretty tough to verbally slap around with your opinions. Don't take it the wrong way, fellas...i mean it as a compliment. I have a new respect for both of you. however, i still think you're both wrong
This isn't a new award, but I would again like to suggest that all award winners should be forced to carry there award title on under there screen name.
How about "Most Persistent Troll?" The guys who get banned and then come right back, chock full of nonsense? The numbers 1260 and 1969 spring to mind, for some reason...
Also, how about a "2007 Award Revoke," for the previous award winner who did the least justice to their particular award? I don't know if that would even be applicable. I'm not sure who won what last year...
I looked over the awards and there's already a shit ton of em, but it might be cool to change the name of the Most Negative Poster to maybe Resident Darksider or something to that affect. Just throwing something out there
I'd like to change this suggestion to "Most Valuable Poster". Same criteria as MVP--the one person who if they weren't here, the boards quality would decrease the most. Or, the person who adds the most quality to the board.
