http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2009/01/report_broncos_now_in_mix_for.html Sorry Spagnuolo the spell check police are out in full fashion tonight.
John Spagnola was a backup tight end on the 1980 NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted out of Yale by the Patriots in 1979. He was the Eagles starting tight end in 1982 and from 1984 through 1987. He enjoyed his best season in 1985 when he caught 64 passes for 772 yards and 5 TDs.
Good, I hope they get him. He's not the right man for the job here anyway. Also, another reason I hope they get him is because I believe the reason Cowher snubbed us like that, was because he wanted to go after the Denver job. He's gonna' be odd man out when Spanguolo or Elway get the job in Denver, and the Jets bring in Ryan.
From what Cakes is saying, I don't think John Spagnola has the requisite experience one would look for in a HC candidate.
