Rocco Baldelli Misdiagnosed

    This is great news that his disease isn't as bad as originally believed, because he had, and still has, so much potential to be a great player in this league. He's always been a guy I've rooted for, especially this past season.

    Hope this helps him land a contract this off-season

    Yankee CF in 09'? Would they take the 'risk', even if he was misdiagnosed?

    My roommate in college played with him in high school in Rhode Island, so he got me following him in the MLB. Kid is a 5 tool player. If he was 100% I would want him no question.

    That story reminds me of just about every episode of House M.D. First, they don't know what it is; then the guy has to have something really exotic, but incurable; then they think it's cancer; then House has a brilliant "light dawns" moment where he figures out that it's a different obscure disease, but this time very curable.
