im up 10 points going into the second week of a 2 week championship thanks to the great deangelo williams. what a steal of a trade i made in like week 4 to get him. i traded randy moss for bowe and williams. i've been laughing all the way to the championship ever since.
been playing since 2000 and this was my worst year ever hadn't missed the playoffs since 2003, but missed in two of my three leagues this year 9th place out of 12 *8th place out of 10 3rd place out of 12 *that team was third in points scored, but was nowhere near the playoffs; I had to win my final 4 games just to finish 2 games behind the last playoff team
I only have one league and I finished 5th. Sad. Oh well. My team was good, (8-6), just missed the playoffs due to a tie-breaker. BLEW through the crappy teams in the crappy finals to officially finish 5th. (8 team league)
I played in a 14 team league last year. Had the second highest point total but finished 7-7, out of the playoffs. It was like everybody's team decided to show up they week I was playing them.
correction on that 8th place team- it officially finished in 5th place because I ran roughshod through the opposition in the consolation bracket; including the consolation bracket, I won 8 of my last 9 games
DeAngelo Williams knocked me out in the semi's of a free league and caused me to lose by 2 points in the championship of a money league.
i gotta say you are either just lying, or play with incompetent people and even with the incompetence are lucky as hell.
Clearly, one of those things is the case. I've played in about 50 leagues and nobody went undefeated.
its impossible to go undefeated in fantasy. some crappy team will always have one week that everyone does good and takes down the better teams. i actually could see going undefeated for a year. one guy in a league im in this year had an undefeated regular season. he ended up losing the first week of the playoffs, but if he had squeaked that one out he would have gone undefeated, he has been the highest scorer since he got knocked out.
Out of my 4 leagues, first in the TGG ESPN league, first in my big money league, 3rd or 4th in my other money league, lost in the first round as a 2 seed, and was awful in my other league, finishing in 9th (though 4th in points). Leagues with flex spots help me out a lot.
I made the playoffs with all four teams. Only won one championship, and that is from a league on here.
well looks like im gonna end up losing the championship. the injuries finally caught up to my team. i have bush, boldin and barber on my team. if it wasn't for deangelo being ridiculous i would have been eliminated earlier.
did i mention i play with morons? people are slow down here, don't forget. if they dont play for the saints, falcons, titans, jaguars, bucs, etc..they dont exist.
