Does anyone think that the Lions and Browns will at least give him a look?

You guys are great to have posted pieces like you did--thanks a bunch.

Very surprising that W would not defer to the next CS regarding BF. Maybe it was mere lack of preparation but it says something--kind of Steinbrenner-ish. If we can have the success the Steinbrenner yankees had, I'd be happy.

Best of luck to EM and his family! Thanks for the memories and I'm sure we'll cross paths again.

I think he will be a great head coach but he is not the right fit for us..Especially if Favre comes back, a rookie head coach is not the right guy for that mess...

I think we need a veteran head coach...Woody hired Herm (rookie) and Eric (rookie), we need to completely change directions...

    Cowher
    Billick (not my favorite)
Marty Schotenheimer (mt balls would shrivel up)

Spagnuolo was the DC of a SuperBowl team. He is widely respected around the league, especially for his performance this year with top players going out to injury / retirement. I think he'd make an excellent HC. And given that the Jets have a lot of talent and his family wouldn't have to move, I think the Jets would be the leader in the clubhouse to hire him.

    No crappy retreads, please.

I don't want another rookie HC. This is a veteran team, with a lot of egos & an intense media spotlight. You need somebody tough & with the ability to handle being the head guy in NY.

Cower is ideal. Gruden is unsatable & would be a disaster. Billick could work. Marty ball? Maybe.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all..I think he is the BEST for us but I don't think WOODY hires another rookie, no matter how good he looks, no matter how good he is and how much better he would makes us I dont think WOODY is going to do it...
