Well where do we go? I say "we," as in fans, organization, players, etc... spin it as you may, we are all wrapped up in this great big ball of Jet's yarn. A new coach? Has Mangini lost them in the locker room? And if so, does that mean someone new? There are many questions that need to be answered here in the coming weeks. Like it or not, we all are stockholders here. Every ticket, every jersey, every Jet merchandise we purchase - the proceeds make their way to Woody's pocket. And the Jet fans/organization need a return on investment. :drunk: Has the expierment failed with Favre? Have the Jet's over shot? There's no secret here. Turn on the NFL network, or ESPN and the Jet's are the punching bag and punchline for a feel good story with Chad and the bunch in Miami. What now? It seems there is no direction in this organization. One year we have all the talent in the league, the next - we have no coach to coach that talent. Could it be that the Jet's lack direction from the top? It all starts from the top. I and many others know what it is like to play for a "questionable" coach - everything does not quite feel right. I have said before to give Mangini one more year, but if what I am hearing is correct (locker room drama, the whole Kendall deal, Miller deal, players turning against, etc..), then this cannot continue another year. I think the Jet's over corrected here. In trying to get something opposite of Herm, they in turn over corrected and got the Mangini, who is too one sided. We need a player and "smart" coach at the same time - if that is possible.
Well put, my sentiments, I think if we could get Cowher, go for it..but i think Brett is done,,he looks old, hurt, slow. Otherwise give Mangini one more year, although ,now we have no QB. So, if Brett wants to play let him. Football is a funny game that way. You never know what the spark will be. The only sure thing I ever saw this team have recently was Parcels, he turned it around.
