Every loss this year can 100% be based on Favre's play, not the coaching. I mean, is it Mangini's fault to turn have the ball be turned over as much as it has this year? And cause the defense to be in such a terrible inposition? NO!!!
How am i wrong you moron? how did mangini coach favre to make those throwing errors and just kill your team? It is fucking ridiculous to argue against this.
In most if not all of the games that Favre made bad errors, we were just plain outplayed. We had inexcusable losses and if we won just 1 west coast game we would have gone into Sunday just needing to win the game to win the division.
So you're saying Favre is directly responsible for the constant 3 man rushes, uninspired playing all around, playing to the opposing teams' strengths, underutilizing leon, the disappearance of Vernon Gholston and the constant dropped passes. You sir, never watched a Jets game and probably are a Vikings fan or something.
ok, im willing to argue this all night. did we get outplayed by the Patriots in week 2? Our defense gave 19 points. (1 td 4 fgs) and they scored from a Favre turnover. At SD, after we return for an INT for a TD, Favre equals it out and throws one to them, he threw another one by the way. Oak, two interceptions coming at key moments. He also didnt make any plays while our defense was solid, only giving up 16 (lucky 57 yd fg). I could go on...
If my head coach repeatedly calls shotgun passing plays on 3rd and short, I would throw up INT just to teach him a lesson or two. i.e. When you pass, three things can happen, and two of them are bad. The best part is, Mangini - or Schotty for that matter - hasn't learned AFTER A FULL SEASON OF FUTILITY. Enough, moron?
please dont if your going to try and defend Mangini, i agree favre played awful at times, but he was part of the problem.. our ball boy coach is the major part.. whats done is done. lol
Favre was a disaster from the beginning. Mangina got the talent and didn't know how to make it work. Poor management, no gameplans....they need to revamp the cs too. We need to move forward and use Ratliff and Clemens next season.
he didnt call those plays first of all. uninispiring? I think the wins in TEN and NE were pretty inspirational, and he motivated them as much as he could today. Playing to opposing team's strengths, umm... how? Leon was used fine maybe because we have the AFC leading rusher, idiot. Gholston needs to develop like other organizations do, why put in an inexperienced player right into a defense that he is not used to? dropped passes are not mangini's fault. execution is not his fault at all. he makes the game plan, after that, its up to the player's talent
you guys need to understand, Mangini took this piece of shit team that it was to a 10-6 record his first year, the next year was plagued by injury, youth, and put on top of that a tough schedule, he took a 4-12 team to 9-7. thats fine. i know we had talent, but its something he can build off of
That was the excuse LAST YEAR when he didn't have "his" players. So is Favre responsible for giving up 27 points to the Bills, who scored a grand total of ZERO today? Or is Favre responsible for allowing Shaun Hill and SF offense to hold on to the ball for 40 minutes? What is Favre doing, playing defense?
