I honestly think that NY won't give the Favre drama it's usual attention. I know that's counter intuitive since this market is usually the one which overplays everything, but I'm not sure there are many Jets fans who give a shit. OK - gun to the head - sure, Favre, come on back. OK - one second later - Favre, you want to retire? Great. Go. Thanks for the 9 wins. But other than that, who f'ing cares? At best, we get 1 season. Sure, maybe it would be good to see if Clemens or whomever is "the answer" for the next 5 years, but what are the odds of that? If Favre is the best QB for next year, great. If not, great. I just honestly don't think many Jets fans are interested in or will even listen to stupid retirement drama. Great - retire! Thanks for 9 wins, and good luck in your next endeavor. Or, great, welcome back! And I hope we can get 10 or more wins next year.
However, over the last five weeks he has been as much to blame as any one player on the field. So would his wife .
Lol u people are a joke. I love how chad gets excused for playing hurt but favre? Well that's just unacceptable. Give me a break, jaded how about u stop posting right now because your ignorance isn't wanted by most. I doubt favre comes back unless coaching moves are made, but if he does I hope he plays like he did in 07 just so people like jaded will disappear.
Fear, I don't think anybody is blaming Favre for playing seriously hurt (if he is). I think it's questionable that if he was feeling lot's pain in his shoulder / arm that he didn't get an MRI done during the season to check for damage. That would fall mostly on the coaches shoulders (no pun intended) - not on Favre's.
