Was watching Chris Mortensen on NFL Countdown this morning....he was talking about how Parcells has a clause in his contract stating that if Huizenga decides to sell the team...Parcells could walk away from his contract. Huizenga has a deal on the table and the signs are pointing that he's going to sell. Mort mentioned a few teams that could land Parcells if he decides to leave...the Lions, Chiefs, Browns...and the JETS!!! Please God....please allow the tuna to swim back upstream...straight to Floram Park. Notice how we have had nothing but rookie HCs since BP left? He wont come back to the jets for the same reason cowher wont end up here. Good coaches dont want to work for woody.
money talks. Woody didn't start spending his wad till this year.....if he's willing to break the bank, he can get any coach he wants (including Cowher)....the talent is there....there wouldn't be much of a rebuild..except at the QB position.
...which would take a big hit because Parcells would only go anywhere he could be the GM. He's never gonna coach again...
