Well coached successful teams (like the Pats) get the calls, while poorly coached unsuccessful teams (like the Bills & Jets) get the shaft. No conspiracy, just a fact of life in the NFL. Why should the Refs/League give the benefit of the doubt to incompetent and unqualified coaches like Jauron or Mangini over coaches who have been in and WON multiple Super Bowls? The way the Pats are playing today, the Refs could give every call to the Bills and they will still find a way to lose, like they did a couple of weeks ago at the Meadowlands. That pass play call a couple of weeks ago was just as horrific as the Pisarcik fumble Herm recovery about 30 years ago.
A whistle does not mean the clock stops. It means the play is dead. There is plenty of blame for that play, and it all belongs to the Bills. Calling a run on third down, :20 left, and no timeouts was moronic. Since it was third down, they couldn't even spike the ball. Also, the Bills should have been sprinting off the field to rush the field goal team on, not screaming at New England defenders. Jackson running off the field with the ball didn't even give the officials a chance to spot the football. This doesn't even touch on why the Bills were huddling on that drive or playing for a 35 yard field goal in that wind. Don't blame the refs for Buffalo's utter ineptitude.

I hate to break this to you, fans of every team look for and make excuses. if you have some evidence that it is exclusive to Jets fans only, or at least Pats fans never make excuses, I am more than eager to see it. if not, your post lacks any semblance of knowledge of sports fans and behavior, so you should probably avoid entering into such a conversation at the risk of making yourself sound even more ridiculous.
They were crying on SB sunday last year about the refs after they had their "perfect" season taken away from them.
why do we allow stupid jets fans on this board? at least a few of the pats fans are reasonable posters. you just suck.
