    It was a sensible decision when made. Not all sensible decisions work out.

    The one thing you can criticize was letting him go to a divisional rival. Posters here have said there was no time to work out a trade, cap space had to be cleared immediately. Maybe so, but couldn't the Jets have worked out a contingency plan for clearing cap space besides cutting Pennington? It wasn't like no one was thinking about bringing Favre here before it happened.
