Never mind the unfathomable INTs (he's either crazy, a coward, or just doesn't give a shit), his immobility is ridiculous.

I watched the NFL Network show where they run through the game highlights on a minute by minute basis, and all you saw, play after play, were QBs making necessary plays with their legs.

Running for first downs, running for TDs, rolling left and right and buying time for their receivers to get open.

Flash to Favre like a one-legged pirate showing zero escapability and zero desire to run the ball.

He's done. As Parcells said, when you think about retiring, you're already retired. As I've said before, Favre first talked about retiring more than 5 years ago.

He'd have trouble leading a club level team to a championship considering his immobility and unwillingness to run and take a hit.

    He needs to go.

And if you have any illusions about winning this week, they should show him the door today. He will be destroyed by the Dolphins defense.

Ratliff has a better chance of winning this game for us. You might get the same rookie-type mistakes that Favre has been making, but at least you'll get some mobility and energy. And the Jets would probably run the ball at a better ratio.

I though Favre was gonnaa energize the team..wtf happened to that?
He plays like an old man and is gimping through December. Call up Namath for this Sunday, or maybe Vinny.

Brett is like Vinny was, but Parcells knew how to utilize his experience and arm strength.

    Mangini doesn't have a clue.

This argument is irrelevant. Favre is almost guaranteed to stretch the "will he or won't he?" question out all spring, long past the point where the Jets can make other reasonable choices at QB, and then he'll either return if that would be the thing that most screws the Jets or not return if that would be the thing that most screws the Jets.

This is the conjunction of the Favre retirement phenomena with the Jet's proven ability to get screwed by anything that could possibly screw them. I just realized I've been rooting for a $10 hooker all my life.

On the fu**ing money George. This Farve experiment has been a disaster and we have been found out big time. Cap ledger next year is bordering on unworkable and we can't go forward with Farve great as he once was. We need a answer as soon as our season is over not a circus about "should I will I". If he has an ounce of pride he should eat some humble pie after we get carved up by the fish and say he made a mistake and should have stayed retired.

Favre is to blame for this awful collapse. Mangini, Tannenbaum and Woody are too blame for bringing him here.

The Jets built a team to run the ball, stop the run, not turn the ball over and not give up big plays. They took that team and added Brett Favre. When Favre plays well his team usually wins. When he plays poorly his team usually loses. This is why the Packers wanted him out. He can get any coach fired. A healthy Chad Pennington would have been better for this team. With that being said the chances of Pennington being healthy for 16 games were not good.

We have a pretty good team that has done a good job of rebuilding. They still need another off season but they were on the right path. It will be a shame if Mangini gets fired because of this. While he is nothing more then an average coach today, I do believe with the right coordinators he can become a good coach.
