Per NFL.com We'll know by gametime whether we can make the playoffs or not. (or do both Baltimore and NE have to lose?)
The upside of this is that if something breaks our way during the 1 PM games then the stadium atmosphere is going to be amazing.
Either can happen. Baltimore loses and we win we get the WC. NE loses and we win we get the division. So even if NE wins in the 1:00 spot there is still reason for the Jets to play hard. (plus the fact that they are being payed millions of dollars)
This sorry excuse for a team does not deserve a playoff spot. It will only be fitting that we get beat by Chad. I'd sooner be 0-15 like Detroit, then have to deal with the roller coaster the Jets put the fans on every year. Let's get a coach that actually displays some emotion. It's like Mangina really does not care.
This is exactly why the flex schedule came about. It creates more drama and leaves a team in our position two chances to actually make it and two chances for an audience viewership that will be steady rather then low ratings if it was the other way around. I personally like it , because we will either know we have a shot or we will know to watch Baltimore side by side with the Jets playing. Just another typical Jets season.
