How about win 1 against SEA, OAK, or SF. Just one would put us in a decent place. Does not even mention we should have lost to KC and BUF.

A better coach gets us 3 more wins this year, clinches the division and is fighting for the #1 seed instead of gasping for the last breath of life.

As for the acquisitions, these weren't rookies or even young journeyman we filled into these spots, these are All-Pro athletes who've all played at an elite level their entire career. The implementation period is dramatically reduced for players like this. These are NOT system players.

This team was constructed to win right here right now. Mangini got his o-line, got his Hall of Fame QB, his 3-4 defense personnel, his real NT... he got everything he needed... all that was left to do was execute... and while he did put us over .500, he didn't do enough to guarantee us a spot in the playoffs and a shot at the Super Bowl... and that is a failure with a team built the way that this one is.

three more winsif you're saying that a coach like Sporano or Reid gets this team to 13-3, i disagree. I just don't see it.

Like you said, these guys are veterans and players have to play.
