I bought the home authentic off of nflshop.com the night he was traded to the team. (The rest of the Marines in my unit thought I was nuts) That night when I saw my family for the first time, all I wanted to do was go back to the hotel and watch his introductory press conference. I remember ordering the jersey while sportcenter was talking about the trade. Man, the feeling from that night to the feeling to today couldn't be more at the opposite sides of the spectrum. This team just never fails at breaking your heart.

This is the exact reason I didn't buy a Favre jersey. At 8-3 my dad is like, buy a Favre one. I'm like, hell no, Favre is leaving and I'm gonna wanna throw it out. Good decision. I instead got a Cotchery and Leon.
