How many errant passes can he possibly throw in one half? Seneca Wallace has NO PROBLEM throwing the ball with the conditions the way they are and Favres passes are just flat and half the time, at the receivers feet. Not to mention that stupid INT in double coverage. He has sucked in every game this year where the conditions are sub par. You can blame receivers all you want but when he does have open guys, he can't put the ball on the money to save his life. He's a shell of his former self these last 4 weeks. Unless we somehow run the ball down their throats the 2nd half, i dont see Favre bringing us back through the air.
favres time as a jet was summed up on that pass to clowney.... clowney has 4 yards of seperation and favre underthrows him by 3 yards

Crazy Theory: Favre, king of retiring and unretiring, who happened to throw 6 TDs earlier this season and also threw that Laser between 3 defenders in Tenn....is a moody diva bitch and is not playing to win. His arm is fine, he just doesnt want to be here anymore...Why?...he only thinks about Brett Favre and he already proved his point by getting the Jets 9 wins and watching Green Bay tank. Its cold, its been a long season already and he will be retiring after we get smacked by Miami next week. So F-it, he wings a rediculous pass across the field in a virtual playoff game in the snow. F Him. He was one of my favorite players before he came here...the move to the Jets will taint his career and my opinion of him. I dont know if Chad would have done as well this year, but he bled Jet green and I'd rather have that. BTW...the team looks lackluster because they can see he is far(ve) from motivated. If you see your quarterback mailing it in, you start making plans for vacation after Dec.28th. Thats whats happening.
I don't think its Favres fault entirely..This is a coaching issue. The individual talents on this team is very high. When a group as a whole functions below their potential, you have to look at the management. The coaching staff must be questioned and held responsible.
