I hate Brenda Warner....I don't know why but she bothers me so much. I never understood why living through cancer is looked at as an accomplishment as it somehow vindicates you are a good/strong person. All it really means is you have the same basic survival instinct we all have.
I'm not gonna say anything about cancer because I've never had to go through that (thank god). I guess for me it was more about calling in to sports talk radio shows to attack Kurt's coaches and teammates, compounded by all the incessant "Kurt is a good football player because of God" crap (she did not say that in so many words, but you could tell her religion was more a superiority thing than a humility thing, if you know what I mean). Anyway, getting off track here
I try my damndest not to insult people, even people who's points I totally disagree with. But AMEN for this part of your post. I'm glad someone said it.
