Can't say I would disagree at all. We were sputtering throughout the beginning of the season, and I criticized the effort Jones was giving on the field. A couple of weeks later, he surprised the hell out of me and started running like an animal. It wasn't just the blocking, as some would have you believe. It's like someone flipped a switch on the guy and he was relentless, even when a hole disappeared. He's still not unstoppable, when we run him up the middle on obvious running down, he usually doesn't cross the LOS. Be TJ is what TJ is, and when he puts his heart and soul on the field, he is easily the primary reason the offense clicks. Teams have to respect the run and it opens the midfield (LBs cheating the line) and the backfield (safety cheating up) and good things happen. Thomas Jones has impressed me this season. I hope he can keep it going into the postseason.
The answer to this question was either Thomas Jones or Kris Jenkins. Personally, I think Jenkins is more important to our team by a wide margin, but that doesn't mean Jones did not earn it and does not deserve it. He's had a much better season than I thought he could/should (I still think Leon deserves touches, and most agree with me).
He deserves it. Although a case could also be made for Leon who singlehandedly won some games for us this year.
Jenkins has fallen off a bit in recent games though. Still a good choice. Can anyone imagine how horrible the pass defense would be without Revis?
besides revis our pass defense IS horrible. very horrible. we gotta get a legit #2 to pair him with this offseason
I agree, i thought it should of went to leon, jones had an amazing year but just how leon changed games this year.
I was torn between Jenkins and Jones, it's close to a tie for me. Both have played a little spotty at some point this season, and I do know that our defense is nothing without Jenkins... but I just think TJ's impact in games this year gives him a slight edge for me.
15 TDs up to this point gave him the edge and the vote. I hope this type of motivation makes him hungrier.

Disagreed with the switch. He's looked similar to earlier in the year when... surprise... he doesn't get carries. My argument with you back then is that they weren't running him... when that still happens today, we still lose.
Of course you disagree, because you refuse to recognize his lack of drive earlier in the season. Last weekend I actually re-watched the first 6 games and early in the season he just wasn't running with the same authority and power that he is now. Even when he had a hole between the tackles, he was going down with first contact.
TJ looks faster and skinnier than last year. I don't mean he has less fat, he never had any, I mean he looks less muscled, lighter. Its been a while since anyone made biceps jokes about TJ and the reason is he's slimmer.
