Just read that on nj.com. I was dimly aware that Packers usually finish strong, but had no idea the stats were this lopsided. I hope this "tradition" carries over for the Jets!

Ummm ... he didn't lose in New England.

Stats are pretty worthless, I'll be the first to agree. But still this is a pretty interesting one.

I'd like to see that tradition carried over to the Jets as well. Along with adding the "we don't lose our last regular season games, or playoff games, or superbowl games period!" tradition.

Those stats must be about the patriots' new stadium because I still remember losing at NE in 1994 by a score of 17-16 because Chris Jacke missed an extra point.

Other teams have bad luck too. Could be worse. Ask Detroit fans.

It isn't my "stat," it's ukilledkenny's. Like I said, I have no idea what he's thinking of. I was just pointing out that what he said it was is incorrect.

I read these stats in today's Star-Ledger also.

Even though past performance doesn't guarantee future results, what you CAN take away from these numbers is this:

Favre doesn't choke when the games are on the line. It's good to know that we've got him under center going into what may be the most important last two regular season games in years.

i messed up i admitted as much, still in the beginning of the season it seemed like every week some reporter had a new stat. "in brett favres career X has never happened." the next week X happened. they were all stupid little stats and i dont feel like going back to try to find them. all i was saying is that it seems like every time an odd stat is reported about favres career it seems like the trend is broken.

Detroit fans, though, don't have any expectations.

In fact, many want them to go 0-16, for historic purposes.

Still, 26-6, Man I knew he was usually golden at the end of a season, but I had no idea it was that bad. Favre certaintly seems to come up big late in hte year, especially with playoffs on the line. Once in the playoffs? He's pretty much 50/50, and that really is the best you can ask for of any QB. You need to win the SB every season to have a winning record, pretty much.

Yes, it's Favre time. Three way division tie, jets own the breakers, hence control their destiny. Only guarentee of playoffs is to win out. Favre being honest and admitting the next 3 - 4 games could be his last (which means, he fully well does expect to get int he playoffs, and possibly get a round one win) means he may have that extra fire in him, like last season, as he begins to sniff post season play. When you know, or feel, this is your last chance to not just play football, but to be a champion, usually you begin to pull shit out. That was what was so upsetting abou thte OT int last year - there was just this feeling after the second missed FG that you know what, Favre and the Pack were really meant to be in the SB.

Didn't happen, bad pass. Poor throw.

But, life moves on. It's Favre time. THIS is why the jets got Favre. In order to start asking for playoff wins and a SB, one must get into the playoffs. Favre and the jets have it all in front of them. They know what must be done. No more slip ups.

Play your best from here on out, and hope it's enough.

Favre will need a big day maybe not this week, but fure sure against miami, and anyone in the playoffs, for the jets to win. Lets go Jets. Lets go Favre. The jets didn't rent Favre to miss the playoffs. Lets go.
