Coles looked like a beat player today and doesn't seem to have the thirst anymore. Cotchery is a good posession WR without the speed we really need. We need a WR to be a threat. One with speed to stretch the field. That player will have to wait until next season, but we do have one that makes other team game plan. I say Keller is the only WR/TE threat that can worry a team. Too big for cornerback and safeties, yet too fast for linebackers. I want him on the field every play, whether it is a decoy or target.
I personally think the H-back idea is good and he should be used that way. Most of the good offenses today have an H-back, its a sound concept.
I agree, him only catching 2 passes is unacceptable. Keller, Stuckey, and Smith need to be more involved. Coles is over the hill, it's time to get some speed recievers in there.
Haha you know we guaranteed his salary for next year right? I was against it in the offseason, I knew this guy was done. He knew it too. Why else would you make a big stink about it unless you knew the team would want to get rid of you after a year?
Yeah, he brings basically nothign to our offense at this point. Cotchery, Stuckey, Keller, and Smith are our playmakers. Not Coles.
I've been saying this since the beginning of the season. Too bad it took Smith getting injured to get Clowney activated. I really hope Favre stops throwing bombs to Coles for interceptions and, instead, throws the bombs to a taller, bigger, faster, more athletic Dustin Keller. Coles is NOT a threat, and that kills us.
I agree he should be on the field most of the time, but I think we have a very solid receiving core sans a true #1.
Clowney Cotchery Keller Smith Stuckey LeonWashington, where can we go wrong?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:drunk::drunk::breakdance::breakdance::beer:
he has like 35 catches in three games, and then he gets 2 today and all of the sudden he's not a huge target????????? This has been his least productive game since the beginning of the season. Let's see if anyone from SEA can cover him... maybe Tatupu. He's a target, trust me, but sometimes he's covered well.
he shoulda came down with that one pass in the endzone. but i keep hearing that he makes amazing catches during practice so ill keep waiting to see them. there's no questioning his size/speed advantage over most defenders though.
Keller should be used exactly like Witten, except Witten is a way better blocker. Even so, the Dallas offense pretty clearly runs through Witten. Our joke of a CS has no clue how to build an offense though, so don't hold your breath.
