It did feel good early in the season, but well. This team is just not good. No matter how much money the owner shells out, it's still the same shitty team that will be the laughing stock of the league.
I will quote this statement to save me time over the next n years as I fell it will come into use time and time again. I wish I could rewind to 1985 and pick a different team to support than the Jets because they fucking suck.

The biggest positive I can take from this game is confidence. Confidence is a huge factor in football, go ask the Giants. The win will hopefully get some good vibes going in the clubhouse. We won ugly against the horrible Chiefs, then went on our best stretch of the season. One win can change everything.

Have you watched the Lions at all this year? They don't match up well against the Jets. The Jets would beat the Lions real bad similar to how the Jets pulverized the Rams.
If I could, I would, thats the problem with supporting a team, otherwise everyone would support Man Utd and the Patriots.
Yeah we suck .... Are you kidding ??? .... Check the standings .... We are STILL in FIRST PLACE in the AFC EAST .... So if we suck, then the Pats and 'Phins and Ravens and Colts and Broncos and Chargers and Cowboys and Eagles and Redskins and Vikings and Bears and Cards they also all suck because none of them have a better record than us ... We have the same record as 3 other division leaders, we must be doing something right .... Ask the 17 teams that have worse records than us if they would like to SUCK as bad as The JETS .... Even with an ugly performance today we still have a top 7 rushing defense and are in the top 4 of scoring in all the NFL .... An ugly win still counts as a WIN
First, put down the koolaid you've got and take off your green glasses. The fact of the matter is that, we didn't win today. Bills (or Losman, rather) served the win in a silver platter. That we won today doesn't mean we don't suck. We still suck at defense - cannot even tackle a goddamn RB these days. Pressure? Are you kidding me? And don't even get me started on the offense - they looked like they were on to something in the first two drive, then the same old jets from the past two weeks show up AGAIN. It has to be Brian the moron. And last but not least, true, records are what you are, but that doesn't give you the whole picture. Win or loss, this team still cannot properly play defense in any imaginable situation.
