That's the way it should be for next weeks game. I know alot of you probably got excited thinking this was gonna' be an actual article. But just an opinion. There's like a 75% chance Smith will be out for next weeks game, I'd really like to see Clowney get some play time, maybe only in certain packages. I remember the article that said Clowney had went up to Favre after practice and said he really wanted to catch a TD from Favre before he retired. I think now is going to be his chance to prove he can be a thread at the slot. On a side note, what's up with all the Smith's on our team having concussions. :breakdance:
First of all, I hate to see B. Smith injured. He's been a great roleplayer for the team this year and it sucks that he was hurt. That said, I agree that this would be an opportune time to give Clowney a shot. Our lack of a deep threat was once again woefully obvious against SF and the coaches really need to find an answer. Give the kid a chance - he could be the spark that we need downfield - it certainly won't come from anywhere else on the roster.
On second thought. Clowney is not THAT fast. After the catch, he still gets caught.
I hate when people pretend to put up a headline to scam people into looking at their thread. Especially when the thread sucks.
I hate when thread starters bump their own thread by replying with a "bump" message. I also hate when people write topics that sound like news articles especially when he knows he is doing so. You sir, stink.
Anyway, seriously back on topic. Who else do we have available other than Clowney? Would he have to share snaps with Stuckey? I think Clowney's acceleration is good. I mean, he gets off the line fast, but the plays I've been watching of him; he gets caught by a DB alot of times.
Brad Smith Out: Clowney In Okay, back on topic. That being, the title of this thread was patently dishonest. Alio is right, this thread sucks because it originally read as above and was intended to induce the reader to believe Smith is out and Clowney is in. Instead of apologizing, you quickly change the title of the thread after you realize how wrong it is and then proceed to go about your business as if you've done nothing wrong.
