Today was a bad day, for the Jets at least. With wins for MIA, NE, DEN, TEN, and IND. The Jets seem to be slipping in the AFC Standings.

I'm truely at a loss for words. I was completely optimistic throughout the season, even at Half Time of today's game. I had repeatedly laughed at everyone who panics after a loss this season, thinking it's the end of the world. Today has completely dissapointed me. I don't know where it went wrong, you can't say it was Bob Sutton, because our offense didn't do shit. You can't say that it was Shotty, because our Defense didn't do shit. There were questionable calls throughout the game on both sides of the ball, I just needed to vent before I go to sleep. This is complete bullshit...

We've slipped from AFC East leaders to....AFC East leaders... We still control our own destiny, even if it looks bad now.

Until it isn't true. Right now, it is, so let's relax for a second.

For another 6 and a half days. Once we lose to the Bills it will all be over.

    Until we can't.

Looks grim but we're not done yet. Just need to figure out how to win on the left coast...that appears to be the key. Expecting a big rebound against the Bills, but that Seattle game looms after.

The offense didn't do much but how long did they have the ball! 15 minutes compared to 50 for SF?

    The defense sucks bad

Exactly. So let's beat Miami when it gets to that. I don't think the Fish are going to be able to come on the road and beat us in Giants Stadium if that game is a win or go home for the Jets. The place will be rocking.

I'm really worried about the way we've played the past two weeks, but I refuse to panic until we don't control our own destiny anymore. And 2 of our last 3 are at home against the divisional squads. Seattle is another west coast game, but SF is a lot better than they are.

SEA almost beat NE today if it wasn't for incredible luck.

Beat Buffalo and Miami and we win the division. I fully expected us to lose this game, granted I figured Denver would roll over on our home field but this game had the look of tough road loss all over it.

The most dissapointing thing about todays game is it looked like we didn't even bother to watch film on SF offense during the week. It was amazing how outright confussed we were on D throughout this game.

We also need to make some major adjustments on O. Both Denver and SF basically ignored our WR outside and up the field. The league has adjusted the question is can our brain trust adjust and get us back in the mix or do we fade out stage left?
