All the loses that we suffered this season all were games that were player at 4pm and after... Maybe were not a later football playing team when we player at 1pm we won all the games... though the Raiders game was at 1pm on the west coast it still felt like 4pm to an east coast team.. maybe its me but that might have an affect on there playing..Only game we won was the NE Game but how can you not be up for NE game no matter when or where..
Every coach in the NFL would prefer their team play at 1PM on Sunday. Every advertising executive involved in professional sports would prefer the games be played at 8PM. Compromise. In all fairness, when I'm still at work at 8PM, I ain't that productive, neitha.
It seems to me that both teams play the game at the same time, I don't see why coaches would have a preference.
another basic common denominator, 3 of those 4 losses were to the AFC west. So which is it? the fact it was a late game? or the fact that we had to travel cross country (2 of 4 games) or the fact that we had to play the mighty AFC West? who knows... hoping its just the AFC West problem. That way we never have to deal with them again....
I hate 4 PM games just for the fact that I can't ever get shit done before the game because I'm too anxious, then by the time the game is over I have so much homework I'm up 'til 1 AM anyway.
That was the first thing that worried me about the Denver game. I never feel comfortable when they play at 4, especially at home. The team and crowd always seem kind of flat.
If we lose to the Niners, then I guess this has a lot of merit. We better not lose to the Niners though.
I also noticed something about all of our losses. We scored less points than the other team in every single one of them
Come on now can I add a feather to the cap now... Don't say coincedence we just lost to the SF all these teams suck and we still losing give me something different besides were scoring less points.. I just noticed a point..
O.K. Now considering that most Play-off and Superbowl games are played after 3:00 EST, does that mean we're toast??? :drunk:
I don't know man but they are like sluggish and all out of it and I think superbowl should be the last thing on there mind.. Try getting into the playoffs first
One thing I noticed in all the losses is that the Jets gameplans were just complete failures...as in nothing worked. SD/NE/OAK/DEN/SF the offense couldn't do anything and while the defense may not have given up a lot of points (SD excluded) they didn't give the offense a lot of possession either. (And by extension, if there were any in-game adjustments, they didn't work either.)
