Chicken shit call! when are refs going to have to do pressers after the games just like players and coaches? That might end some of these bad calls when refs actually have to answer for their fuck ups! BTW the nfl should throw out the tipped pass rule. If a ball is tipped no PI can be called. What was the difference? Good clean hit! Of corse if that happened to coles or cotchery I would be fuming.

It wasn't PI, it was unnecessary roughness.

Same here, i hadn't felt so pissed off about one particular play since some jackass pretty much single handedly cost us a rather important game against the steelers (everyone knows what i'm talking about, i'd rather not mention it by name)

see, stuff like the "force-out" last year should be reviewable. same with the "cotch fumble". what's the point of the video review if many crucial types of plays can't be reviewed?

the league has a number of issues it needs to address during the offseason

i think every situation should be reviewable. Each team gets 2 challenges a game, and 3 if the first 2 are overturned. So who cares what they challenge?

I think the Jets should have challenged "Down by contact"
IMO- It's a rule that should be allowed in that case.

You're not challenging the fumble, you are challenging the fact that he was down w/possession.
    That has to be changed.

No one is saying review scrums.
But, AFA Scrums then you can go with the inconclusive mumbo jumbo.

Hate to admit it, but I agree. He never had the ball locked up in his hands, or any type of control over it.

That shouldn't have put he Jets in a tail spin. They got their own big break in the Jones TD. That should have lifted them, and removed any momentum change from the Cotchery play. They just didn't come to play on Sunday

Exactly what I said on that hit. He didn't lead with his head or his forearm. Perfectly clean but in this punk pussie NFL of 2008 he will probably still get fined..that's the real shit that goes on in this league. Especially when the Patriots are involved.
