That's a pretty easy assessment to make. 9ers are allowing 3.6 sacks per game or something like that. I'm gonna ante up my prediction and say...Gholston gets his first this weekend. Write it down.
I am glad Harris is back. That is huge. What is going on with Clowney? I can't figure out why Mangini is not getting him into playoff shape and giving him some game time.
who would you take out of the game to make room for clowney? also, any idea who is going to be scratched to make room for harris?
Hater. If Gholston can't get a freaking sack this weekend...if he can't muster up a .5 sacks this weekend...sigh...then may the Lord have mercy on his poor talent-less soul.
Watch todays press conference on newyorkjets.com, Mangini talks about how the sack numbers have decreased for SF since the new QB came in. So that number is a bit inflated, but they still aren't great in protection plus getting Harris back is huge for us. Spencer will probably be the one who misses the active list for Harris.
Elam was terrible sunday but he hasn't been terrible the whole season he's actually made some big plays like the INT TD return and Forcing a couple of key fumbles. An Great news on Harris. The Hitman back in the middle is definately good news.
Music to my ears. Have been waiting for what seems like an eternity to see Harris back on the field doing what he does best. Kicking ass!:metal:
I think you play a better cover safety on apparent passing downs. Whether E. Smith or Barrett. They have more speed. Elam had a bad game. He's fine in a base defense.
When Elam was first given the start over E. Smith this year he outperformed Smith, but then a few games in he became undiscliplined. I wonder if he needs the fear of getting benched hanging over his head to play in control.
Elam had a bad game, but Smith or Barrett have more speed? I highly doubt that one. Both of them are know for playing soft on coverage to hide thier lack of speed.
