another hurry today..and seems to be getting alot more playing time..bryan thomas has 4 sacks this year and two of them against miami week 1...there are players who had 3-4 sacks in one game..gholston needs to step up and take over BT's spot ASAP
I saw him once today before the game was out of reach and before I knew who it was I was literally watching the play and said out loud "what the hell is that guy doing"?
Hopefully Gholston has a huge surge of progression from year 1 to year 2 because BT is not the long term answer at OLB. He's a total flop this season, no pressure from him whatsoever.
our biggest need going into this season was a dominate pass rushing OLB...we still dont have it..pace leads our lb's with 5 sacks..ware had 3 on thanksgiving day alone. and i know pace is good at stoppin the run and is in coverage alot..but someone needs to step up
How could he have gone from being a beast in college to a nobody in the NFL? Was he doing steroids in college? Do college players get tested for steroids? From what he has shown, he has no quickness, no power, no strength, no desire. Did he lose it all because he can't do steroids anymore?
I think after the draft Vernon stopped lifting weights and instead starting eating. He does not look anything like the player he was at OSU.
yeh its very weird but he does look like completely different player, very very slow, I figured he would have mind problems but would still be successful physically
this dude is trash mofucka might as well come to the game in a knicks jersey.. Ole sucka ass gholston
He sucks and I didn't think we should have drafted him in the first place, he was a BUST. He's lazy, He's fat, He's slow, Has no instinct, and got lucky in college by just being stronger. Well Gholston, you're not going to be stronger than a NFL O-Line. I hope he improves dramatically and can prove me wrong but...
he might as well come to the game in pajamas... Lawrence taylor changed his number got tired of telling him what a pre snap adjustment is...
He exhibited no pass rush skills in college aside from simply overpowering many linemen who will never play in the NFL. I also wondered if he was doing steroids, but we may never know for sure. I've been ticked off a few times on draft day (Justin Miller in 2005 and Bryan Thomas instead of Ed Reed in 2002), but I've only been infuriated one time and that was the Gholston selection.
Today was a painful reminder of how far back a top 10 bust pick can set back an organization: I have to watch D-Slob actually make a tackle en route to Denver blowing us out in our own house. On our defense, I see our #6 overall pick from last year's draft, Vernon Ghost-man, looking like a 50-year old used car salesman who plays flag football on the weekends. How much money guaranteed did Ghost-on get?
On the QB hurry why didn't he put his head down and charge at Cutler like a fucking bull and spear that homo into the ground? I was like YES when I saw him running after him then all of the sudden he started dancing and then DIDN'T PUT HIS HANDS UP
