Where the hell did all of you go at half time? I know it was tough to watch, but geez, did you all just go home? Shame on you if you did, I sat there and watched the entire mess. Kinda sad to watch an empty stadium for a first place team, and just hours ago a FedEx field sold out with fans sitting there to the bitter end as they get man handled by the Giants. For all of you screaming this is not the SOJ...well I guess you're gonna have to do a lot more screaming...40 years of futility will do that to you.
Most of the Jets fans are from Queens and Long Island, we need a strong fanbase in Staten Island, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Northeastern PA and Eastern Upstate NY like the Giants do.
I personally went to the game with two Broncos fans, one of which was 12 years old. They wanted to leave at halftime, and the kid's father drove, so it was either go home with them or not go home at all. Believe me, I wanted to stay.
I stayed until the end, sucks bad.... cold, rainy, fuckin shitty fuckin weather... i mean bad... it was cold--it was raining, i stayed but i don't blame everyone for leaving. it was a bad game, the D sucked moose cock, seriously... to sit through that game and turn around and drive home... fucking a that game was bad. :drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:
No die hard fans. We want winners and if the team is sucking, they will leave. I'm going to San Francisco game and I hope it's all green in the stadium.
Jets fans will never be mistaken as the nosiest or most supportive in the league. Bad weather, traffic, long drive home take their toll.
I also think that it was a later Sunday game, the weather sucked and then they'd run into all the end of the holiday weekend traffic so they figured they'd get a jump on that. I think that if it was a 1PM game more people would've stayed.
I left when the Jets did, and that's when the Jets punted with 8 minutes left in the game. Disgraceful.
Fedex sold out my ass. I was at the game today, and it wasn't close to full. Plus, as usual in that shitty stadium, there were more cheers for the other team. Yes, our team laid an egg today, but get your facts straight before you get up on your high horse.
My brother went to the game and he said him and half the stadium left at halftime. I could never understand that. My dad had season tickets when I was growing up and got rid of them in 97 or 98 when the price increased dramatically and he was still paying child support for my brother. We would never have left a game early because of rain or traffic or any reason. Especially with a first place jets team. Imagine being a player and walking out of the tunnel after halftime and seeing half the crowd gone. That must really pump you up.
That stadium shot in the TV coverage near the start of the 4th quarter was ... shocking. I'd say the stadium was 80-90% empty with almost 1/4 of the game left to go.
Wait...which game were you at? All I know is watching the 4th quarter of the Skins Jints game there were definitely a ton more fans then as they were losing 23-7 than at the beginning of the 3rd Q at the Jets game.
