5 wins in a row, 6 out of the last 7. That's impressive.

One game where early Turnovers and interesting calls by the refs cannot dictate how this team is for an entire season.

Sometimes our team gets outplayed. Cutler looked like a 1st round franchise QB today. He beats a lot of teams through the air. We are not special, he did it to the Jets too.

Playcalling looked like it did in the 1st half of the season. Hopefully it goes back to the previous 5 games. I think it will.

Panic and calling for firings and going nuts over today is foolish. The Oakland game is one thing, this is different.

Take a deep breath.... take two, and set your sights on San Fransisco. If the Jets players have 5 minutes to get over a win or a loss and move on, so do we. Look towards SF and lets get ready for that win... Sulking over a typical "you play bad you lose" game won't do anything.

The division is still ours, even if the Pats won the tiebreakers go to the Jets. Most of us predicted 11-5 anyway, let's calm down. Who's to say the Steelers don't lose against Dallas and Baltimore, and then all of the sudden the Jets are tied or one up on the #2 seed.

Be angry for a little bit, but the whining cannot continue all week. There is too much to be done to be sad about a loss after a 5 game winning streak.

If this was the SOJ, they'd be 7-5 and the Pats would be looking at overtaking the division. Don't worry about today.

    Stay the course.

thank you.....you are among the very few level headed jets fans on this message board

i typically find people who fall into an instant panic are bandwagoners...b/c they know this is the season they are rooting for the jets and every loss is like a playoff loss to them

The weather hurt the Jets who could not keep up with the quicker Denver Broncos. I like our chances in the playoffs, but we need to be able to adjust to poor weather and playing from behind. I'm still optimistic for the season.

I was shocked that they didn't allow the weather to work in their favor and play a physical game on both sides of the ball.

This is a learning game. The Jets should learn from this like they learned from the Raiders game.

^You got the right attitude--still, I want justice on that rat-faced worm coach who cheated with his bogus injury bs.

Want will happen is they will get real injuries now. HAHAHAHAHA! Can't wait!

^I don't want them to get injured--it would be ironic though if say, their bus flips over on the NJ tpk and the only ones hurt are those that faked injuries on the field.

What really bothered me was the Broncos flopping. Other than that, no worries.

The Broncos flopping is something I've never seen in that volume. I've seen it once a game, but not every successful Jet play.

The Broncos get no points from me for this win. Pussy Football at its finest.

Good post NDmick. The Jets will be fine. Atleast the Patriots lost too. Gotta win next week though.

    SAME OLD JETS

It cannot be stressed enough. You don't go beat 2 elite teams, on the road, then lose at home to a team that lost by 21 to the Raiders. That was pathetic, disgusting, horrific, whatever you want to call it. The jets were completely unprepared and played as if they didn't want the win at all. They should all be ashamed. Our chances of a first round bye in the playoffs might have just gone down the tubes. So much for the best team in the AFC.

    They should all be ASHAMED.

What we should analyze is how the team responds next week after a deflating loss like this. If we come out jonesin' for glory, then you know we're still on the right track. If we put up a stinker then it's time for the come down.

Rob, SOJ is losing the game to the Pats in the 4th quarter.

This is just one of those games where a team doesn't do well..

Where did that happy positive attitude go?

It's always about the widr picture.

If in August I'd offered you 8-4 and top of the division with Brady out for New England you (and I) would have gladly taken it

We're not going very far into the playoffs if our secondary keeps giving up 400 yards a fuckn game.

    absolutey true ndmick!

i actually kind of expected one of these games and kind of figured it would be against the broncos. we got beaten today, no excuses. just got beaten.

the thing that is scary is that we have to take a trip out west next week which is NEVER easy. next weeks game is a VERY big game in my eyes. if we have trouble which is very possible being its on the west coast then things will get ugly around here.

as far as losing this game i am not too worried at this point, its 1 game and it was against a pretty good offensive team. we were outcoached and outplayed. bottom line. on to next week!!!!

I agree with parts of that, but I think it's funny that you're telling us there's too much work to be done for us to criticize the team. C'mon man, we don't have to do any work, nothing we do will affect the team. THEY have work to do, but what we say has nothing to do with that. I'd like to think we're a better franchise than the Cleveland Browns.

we are better than the Browns. We do have a ring. But if this team gets like the Cubs, waiting for something bad to happen, it does.

I don't want the collective thought going down that path. If we are strong with our team, it is one element that adds to the team, the team does play off the crowd. So let's keep strong.
